There are two types: regular and protected.
The normal thermal label is suitable for logistics, commercial distribution, self-service. For products with a short life on the shelf exposure.
The protected thermal label is used in products with a longer exposure and which go through various processes before reaching the shelf, so it has a special treatment for durability and, of course, it is suitable for food use.
Traceability data are essential for sale so they must remain unalterable through all the packaging, logistics, exposure and sale processes. It’s used mainly in frozen, refrigerated, perishable products, etc.
